In The Marriage of Figaro, Count Almaviva's character takes a darker turn as he becomes obsessed with Susanna and tries to sabotage her upcoming marriage to Figaro. His actions lead to a series of misunderstandings and complications, ultimately forcing him to confront his own flaws and shortcomings.
