There is one animal that is believed to actively hunt humans, and that animal is the great white shark. If you encounter a great white shark in the wild, it is important to remain calm and avoid sudden movements. Slowly back away from the shark and do not provoke it in any way. Remember, sharks are not mindless killing machines, but rather complex and important members of their marine ecosystems.
